Longest time at sea...
May 16, 2019 As of today, Jacob Adoram has been at sea for 313 days, longer than my 312 days 2 hour record which I held since May 2008 for the longest time at sea for a solo ocean rower. He will receive a Guinness World Record certificate for this achievement.
Each day that Jacob spends out there makes this record that much more inaccessible to future solo rowers. That being said, I certainly hope that he will reach mainland Australia in the shortest time.
Jacob left from Neah Bay, crossed the Pacific Ocean due southwest passing close to Hawaii then entered the Coral Sea. His last blog post of 313 days says that he is under 700 nm to Cairns with an ETA during the first week of June.

Hats off to Jacob for taking away one of my 15 Guinness World Records, 14 remain.
