How to follow the crossing...

I am loading the rowboat and performing remaining few fixes and configurations. We should tow the rowboat to Crescent City in week or so. The launch will likely be on or after the 20th. I will need a two day weather window when the winds may subside some to safely negotiate Cape Mendocino 80 nm south of there. Until then lee shores will threaten me.

I will stay true to my educational goals as stated in the mission statement of Around-n-Over during this massive human powered challenge. In partnership with Ocean Recovery Alliance, we will highlight the plastics problem in our oceans while ORA will produce a stream of educational content both in English and in Chinese. I will also reach classrooms regularly by satellite phone in partnership with Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants.
